Sarah is a mom of two young boys (ages 6 and 4) and she enjoys embedding Montessori principles into her parenting and teaching. She grew up in the Rochester area of upstate New York. She earned her bachelors and teaching degree from Bowling Green State University and graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a Reading Specialist master’s degree. Sarah taught 6th grade Reading and English in Bethesda, Maryland for 11 years, and also fulfilled an administrative role as a team leader for 8 teachers and 160 students for the last 8 years of her career. As a former teacher, Sarah has experience working with children with special needs. Along with her teaching background and role as a mom, Sarah is the former President of the Westchase MOMS club and the former President of the Palm Harbor MOMS club near Tampa, Florida. She is also the founder of www.mommydazzle.com which is a “moms babysitting for moms” company.
