📓 Parts of Speech Sorting Lesson
We are focusing on identifying Adjectives, Nouns, and Verbs. (Links and materials 👇🏻). I took popular Kindergarten 3 and 4 letter words that I know my son can sound out on his own. I wrote a “A”, “N”, or “V” on the back of each one for self checking and each column has 5 words (again…for self checking).
Materials:
✅ Printable: Parts of Speech (.PDF)
Directions: laminate (if you’d like to to be sturdy…or print on card stock). Cut the parts of speech out and then individually cut out each word. Mix them up and have the child read the word and then sort into the correct column.
