Teen Board – MommyDazzle

I don’t have an official Montessori teen board so I improvised with another Montessori work that I already have and used the wood numbers from that set for teaching this lesson. You can quickly write numbers on index cards or print out a number set to do this lesson. You will need numbers 1-9 and then 9 sets of the number 10. I am simply using 1 set of the number 10 and placing the individual numbers over it to make “11,” 12,” “13” and so forth.

I also don’t own a Montessori math bead set so I created one using pipe cleaners, beads from the Dollar Store, and hot glue. The color version of the below .PDF file has a bead set image you can cut out and print on card stock (laminate for multiple uses) if you don’t have beads in your home.
