Amy DeDoussis

Amy is a loving mom to two young children ages 6 and 4. She and her husband moved to the Westchase area in 2015 and they quickly discovered how difficult it was to find childcare that was trustworthy.

Amy understands the honor of and value in being trusted with another woman’s children, and wants to help ease the stress by providing exceptional care. As a mother herself, she recognizes that families want to hire an experienced mom who is not only going to keep the children safe and nurtured, but who’s going to connect with them and serve as a positive influence in their young lives.

Amy grew up in a small town near Yosemite in California and as an only child, she spent most of her time playing outside and with her many family pets. She has always been especially fond of infants and young children-so much so that she was called upon often to babysit starting at the age of 12. Her ability to connect with and soothe infants was something that many regarded as a natural gift.

Amy has over 20 years of experience as a performer and singer. She has worked as a children’s entertainer for the well known California company Happily Ever Laughter Parties, where she engaged children in playfulness with stories, magic shows, and face painting. She was also a guest after school Sign Language teacher for the French American International School in San Francisco. Additionally, she was a live in nanny, baby sitter, and mentor prior to having her own children.

Amy is an avid student of meditation and has also gone back to school to pursue a degree in Psychology. With her children starting school this year, she is now excited to be helping other families with their full time or part time childcare needs and most importantly, connecting and bonding with children.
