Britta Devitt

Britta is a Tampa mom with a crew of 5 kids (3 are school aged). She was born and raised in Florida. Originally from Fort Myers she moved to Tampa in 2002 for college and never left. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Studies from University of South Florida. She has taught dance to children in the Tampa Bay area for the last 15 years. Though the last 7 years has stayed home with her kids and taught on a part-time volunteer basis. She also dances with a Christian dance company in Pinellas Park and serves as a mentor there for middle and high schoolers.

Britta has two decades experience working with children. Her experience caring for children started with babysitting as a teen and working as a summer camp counselor in high school and college. After college she substitute taught in the Hillsborough county public schools and taught dance for the city of Tampa. In recent years she has been raising a family and learning from life experience parenting.

Britta and her husband have 5 kids ages 9, 7, 5, 3, and 9 months. They have 4 girls and one son right in the middle. Britta enjoys her children and taking her kids on adventures as a family.

Britta is looking forward to babysitting for the MommyDazzlefamilies. She knows how hard it is to find quality and reliable sitters. Britta is a very patient, resourceful and creative caregiver. She will do her best to care for each family’s needs and keep kids playing and safe.
