Nicole Scarano

Nicole, who also goes by Nikki, moved to Westchase from NYC in September 2020 with her husband, two kids, and beloved dog, Rambo. Nikki and her husband were both born and raised in upstate NY (Nikki in Syracuse, her husband in the Hudson Valley) and lived in Queens together for the last decade before moving down to Florida. Her son is 5, daughter is 3, and she just gave birth to her tie-breaker baby, another girl, in February!

Nikki has been taking care of children since she was a teenager and has over 20 years of experience, ranging from infant to pre-teen. She absolutely loves being surrounded by children, and is constantly coming up with new, creative ideas to keep her kids entertained and engaged. Nikki works full-time as an Executive Assistant for a corporate insurance company. While she loves her career, she always felt she missed her calling as a teacher or childcare provider, which is why she loves to surround herself with kids and provide childcare on the side! Nikki graduated from SUNY Cortland with a bachelors degree in Sport Management, and completed her masters degree online through Kansas State University in Academic Advising.

Her hobbies include watching her favorite teams with her husband and family (football Sundays are basically a religion in her household!), going to the beach, listening to music, and exploring new towns and restaurants with her family. She also has a small side gig of making cake pops for events and parties! Nikki is a dog enthusiast and dreams of one day opening a rescue shelter of her own; so your fur babies will be just as cared for and loved as your children! As a mother of three who has had much experience with sending her own children to daycare and babysitters, she wholeheartedly understands the importance of finding someone who treats your children like their own. Nikki is very excited to work with your family and build a relationship with you!
