Elizabeth Priest

Meet Elizabeth! She is a passionate homeschooling mom to her son, Matthew. She grew up in Litchfield, Ohio (located under an hour from Cleveland) and attended college in Alfred, NY where she pursued a psychology degree.

She moved to the Cape Coral area about 15 years ago and was hired as a permanent substitute teacher at a local elementary school in Lee County for 10 years before deciding to relocate to the Tampa area in 2017. Homeschooling has always been important to Elizabeth.

Her family uses a very eclectic, hands-on, child-led interest philosophy with an emphasis on field trips and activity-based learning methods. She is an active member, helping to arrange field trips and learning activities in multiple homeschooling groups, including the Homeschoolers of Pinellas Co-op, BeeWild Co-op, Westchase Area Homeschoolers, Tampa Bay Area Homeschoolers, and Bay Area Fieldtrippers as well as others.

Elizabeth currently is a part time teacher with the company, Bricks4Kidz, where she leads birthday parties, summer camps, after-school classes, and home-school classes. She enjoys watching children design and build machines, catapults, pyramids, and buildings out of LEGO bricks. Encouraging the children to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills, as they work collaboratively, using their imaginations is something that Elizabeth enjoys.

She’s excited to continue working with young children in her role as a MommyDazzle Mom. Elizabeth will be helps to serve the Carrollwood, Citrus Park, and Westchase areas with daytime and weeknight/weekend evening requests.
